Our new Tented Camp offers a very affordable way to safari and enjoy the magnificence of South Luangwa National Park whilst on a budget.

Accommodation is in 8 large dome canvas tents that overlook a lagoon where a wide variety of bird and animal life can be seen.
The African style tents are simple but functional and are equipped with two
comfortable beds, bed linen and electric lights. There is a shared shower
and toilet block with hot water and plenty of wash basins.
Delicious meals are served in an intimate open-plan thatched dining area and
guests can enjoy drinks around a central fire pit. The Tented Camp guests
may use the Thornicroft Lodge swimming pool and arrange extra activities
with the lodge.
Thornicroft Tented Camp is ideal for small groups and can be booked for exclusive use. We also offer a walk in rate of $120 per person per night
4 Day Camping Safari to South Luangwa from Lilongwe
Together with Land & Lake Safaris in Malawi we offer a 4 day camping safari departing every Friday and Tuesday from Lilongwe for only $420.
Included: Transport to and from Lilongwe, 3 nights camping (2 people per tent), all meals, 4 game drives.
Excluded: Drinks, visa fees (if applicable), park entrance fees ($ 25pppd), extra game drives or game walks (seasonal).
