9 simple but comfortable chalets are spread-out along the riverbank with fabulous views of the Luangwa River and the South Luangwa National Park beyond.
The chalets are equipped with double or twin beds which are draped with mosquito nets. There is also enough space for a 3rd bed if required.
All Chalets have a private bathroom (with a lovely hot walk-in shower), a desk, tea & coffee making facilities, a cupboard and hanging space, power points (British 3-pin rectangular plug, 220 volt), a wooden box with lock, a fan as well as a veranda and huge windows with views that might mean you're on 24-hour safari if you choose not to close your curtains!
Solar panels have been installed on the roofs to ensure that back-up power is provided for lights and the fan in case of power failures. Hand and Shower Towels are provided in the rooms and you can get Pool Towels from the bar.
Lamps light the camp paths at night and lead you to the main lodge which is a spacious thatched area that houses the dining room, indoor braai/BBQ, lounge and bar. With a traditional roof, stonewalls and gnarled wooden colonnades the lodge has been designed to fit in with the natural environment.
We feel our chalets have everything you need to make your safari a fantastic one!
